How do you tell How do you tell friends that there is hurt on the way? How do you make them aware of the thoughts that went astray? How do you protect them from what is about to be? How do you make sure that they can understand what you see? The game started of, innocent and pure, But slowly the rules changed, that is for sure. They have not seen it, they cannot see, What is right there, so openly and visual to me. I care for them, in the number of three, I do, But I now have to break it down to two. I don't know who belongs and who don't. And I don't know if they will listen, I am sure they wont! I do not want to loose, not one nor three, But I have to choose, it is left up to me. Do I tell or keep to myself? Do I tell or pile it all away on a shelve? Now I sit here and I watch the games that are played. I wish that I could get my message conveyed. There is hurt on the way, to one, two or all. And I am in the middle of the mall! How do you protect them if they do not see? How do you tell if they do not agree? Where do you go and to whom. I just hope it all ends without my help soon!! |

It's often hard to find the words to break bad news to friends but in the long run it's better off for sure. I know it's hard to be stuck in the middle having to make a major choice, but you portrayed the pain well in this poem thank you for sharing. |

So poignant and sad -- the trust and truth, we hope that truth prevails, but sometimes, when you tell the truth - people get hurt, and that person might be you. But, still should it be me, the truth would win out for all to see. ~netswan |
