On The Streets At Calvary ~*Marge Tindal*~ I heard there was a parade So I came to see, what was so very special and what the event could be. I stood in awesome wonder at the sight out on the street. A man parading all alone, no shoes upon His feet. Upon His back a cumbersome cross, Whatever could this be? They told me His name was Jesus, He was willing to die for me. I watched in reflective silence as they pounded nails in His hands. He cried out only to His Father I did not understand. He spoke once more to His Father once more ... for me and for you, 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.' For many hours of the setting sun He did not say a word. And yet, in His silence, I know what I heard. 'For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son' Because He died for our sins, We do not have to ... not one. They took His body down and laid him in a tomb, the entrance they sealed with a boulder. Three days later He arose from the dead, ascending to join His Father. So, in reverence, I praise His name. Jesus, King of Kings. He gave His life so that I might live. Precious be His name. On Easter Sunday morning Remember Calvary's parade, I will as I worship the Son of The Father who lives within me still. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

this is exquisitly beautiful margie-girl very well written and so very lovely to read. take care, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... The wind and your love to carry me. vertical horizon |

Lucky~ My tender-hearted friend, you are a wonderful spirit. Thank you. James~ I agree with that. Thank you. Michael~ Thank you, friend. RSEvans~ Thank you for the read. Actually rabbits were a pre-Christian symbol of fertility. First mention of Easter Bunny was in Germany in the late 1500's. Symbolized because of the prolific new births ... thus springing anew. I'm not sure of the 'Americanized' traditions, but the German settlers in American brought the traditions with them and the first Easter Bunny confections were introduced by the Pennsylvania-Dutch. Hmmmmmm ! I'd have to guess that the chocolate Easter Bunny concept was possibly Milton Hershey ? Enlighten us, please. TerryW~ Sweetie, I'm sure they were tears of joy for the gift of this season. JanetMarie~ Thank you, dear. Toe~ I'm doing well, thank you. You're probably right ! Claire~ Thank you. His was the best 'gift'. Cerenity~ Thank you, dear heart. The Easter cookies will be baked all over the land ... Wonderful ! Love to you all. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Spell bound at this Marge.....Really really done with great honor A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her. |
