Will I? Phantom flowers line my eye. And thoughts ghost odors there. Desires marrow struck deep dye, Full blown its web of snare. My wings are bound I cannot fly I wait in awes forbear. The knot is Gregorian tie. It will not fail or tear. O' Henrys doors awaits espy, My captors will of dare. For me to choose and dwell a lie The cost my soul, in fare. I stand and hear the tigers cry Torment lies in its farewell. Will I live or will I die, Heavens there, but so is hell. Is love behind O' Henrys door? Or is there something wrong with or? |

Will I live or will I die, Heavens there, but so is hell. Is love behind O' Henrys door? Or is there something wrong with or? -------------- this is quite a cryptic, deep poem here SY-guy... reads like a confession of sorts ... me thinks it hold much between the lines as well. >Heavens there, but so is hell.< what an amazing line that one is...truly life's hardest questions and a catch 22 along side. it aint easy is it, my poetic friend...I know. excellent writing SY-gator, later jm Some things cannot be explained by verses that rhyme, They are not measured by the commitment of time. Some emotions run too deep to be described by words, Forgiveness and understanding-remain the most beautiful words ever heard. ~Janet Marie~ "What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly" ~Lao Tze Tao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |

Seymour~ Sometimes you catch me in your suspense ... and I'm left to ponder. 'I stand and hear the tigers cry Torment lies in its farewell.' I wish you a garden of daffodils, my friend. Love you~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Just getting in line to say "wow" and to let you know that I always read your more profound poems slowly, letting each word take on a different meaning, or a proposed meaning of what it possibly is you are truly saying... food for thought, love for heart... as always, quite wonderful...
