Love is so many things So much more than a passing fling It can make you happy or make you sad When you're in love you feel so glad But once things begin to sour Time drags on for each and every passing hour Feels like withdrawal from addiction But it's only love's affliction When you get it you'll know you got it bad What once made you happy now makes you sad You pray for your suffering to end And that some day your heart will mend Mentally it really takes a toll You wonder if you'll ever feel whole Some day the suffering will cease Then a new life awaits if you sign the lease Friends are friend forever if the Lord's the Lord of them and a friend will not say never cause the welcome will not end. --Michael W. i crave loves affliction ... it is my hearts addiction. its like a mad obsession... it owns me like a possesion. LOL couldnt resist great poem here LW... well written and great rhyme. love that last line... I just rent these days LOL  later, jm |
