I wonder what forensics Would tell us if they found. My heart in shattered pieces- Lying cast off on the ground. “Hmm? This heart was broken More than once it seems… Behold the signs of sorrow- Which comes from shattered dreams. And…there! I guess you see it… Traumatic injury. Inflicted by a brutal blow… Producing agony. And there, perhaps much older- Than the wound which produced death- Are scarring, and abrasions”… That must be when you left. Yes, no doubt forensic medicine- With techniques which they know… Would determine that my injuries Should have killed me long ago. |

This is certainly unique! Very sad but unique. I don't think anyone has ever died of a broken heart....hang in there! The sun comes out sooner or later. I'm sorry you're going through such troubled times. Forensic science is something else though isn't it? How they can figure stuff like that out. <*\\\>< Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become. |

I know what you mean...I have had my heart broken and I prayed to God for months telling him that I didn't want to wake up in the morning to another day of pain. I loved the feelings and emotions you expressed and I am sorry for your Heartbreak...a very stressful and traumatic event. James |

Yep, I've been there too. Seems like a miracle sometimes that we survive these injuries, doesn't it? I suppose there is a rhyme and reason for all the pain. Maybe it's only to produce excellent poetry. I think some of the finest pieces ever written down through history would never have been penned without heartache. Yours included! Denise |
