I Took A Chance On Love I took a chance and dared to dream a dream Though I had dreamed so many times before I faced the truth, though not what it had seemed And stumbled underneath the weight I bore I faltered, weakened by life’s hearty blows ‘Till driven, shaking, down upon my knees I withered like a fragile, dying rose Afraid that God would never hear my pleas But as I stood there trembling at love’s door I heard you whisper softly my own name And though I’d given love a chance before I realized this time was not the same Oh yes, I took a chance once more on love And found you were my blessing from above To love means never to be afraid of the windstorms of life: should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings. ~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross |

I took a chance on love, I send across a lovely dove, I had tied a little message, it flew away into the empty passage, Way above into the skies, and beyond I wait patiently till today still, For the messenger to come around, That my love dove will be answered, I feel... Beautiful piece from you indeed, ned I say more, I am subdued and unable to add more.... Oh Ruth wonderfully written I took a chance like this many years ago and I'm still married to him nearly 12 years down the track, at the time thought I'd never love again or ever take a chance on love but I did thank god.
