A lifting hand For Liz I've shed this mood that shrouds Clearing the sky of angry clouds. Found a field of daffodil. Listened to the whippoorwill. She did it all with magic verse From a friend and a would be nurse. With grace and steer and words of cheer, That brought my mind from black to clear. Touched again with freedoms hour. Danced within an April shower. Took credence of awes great power. Visited new my Ivory tower. It's good to breath fair air again To walk in marvel in a glen. Tread the shores of millennium Without the shroud of tedium. I thank her for her hand and grace. For boosting me this gentle place. |
