Is it possible for this to be true
I had heard it but never knew

Yesterday my heart shattered within me
As you walked out of my life to be free

I knew beyond a doubt I would die
No glimmer of hope, with darkness I lie

Never would I heal from this pain
Only in death would happiness remain

The rain began to fall on this dismal day
I knew the sun would never again come my way

My eyes closed....then re-opened in disbelief
What??? A rainbow to mock my grief??

Then a ray of golden sun lit upon me
It opened the eyes of my heart so I could see

This was not the End at all
But a beginning, catching me before I fall

The pain would heal just as the rain will cease
Love and Life will come as had the Rainbow of Peace

Just as His promise
has foretold
A rainbow promise rests
over hearts of gold.

A most beautiful read Butterflies. See at the end of a rainbow there is always a pot of gold and you surely found yours.
Luv to you

Ohh..."Yesterday my heart shattered within me
As you walked out of my life to be free"

How in the world did you know that's what happened to me yesterday? This is extremely sorrowful, but I enjoyed the glimpse of hope at the end.  Something I definitely need to see right now.  Thank you.
