I’m trying to make the best of this funk that I am in Falling upon deaf ears since I love to always win Each door in the house has been slammed shut with a bang If I won’t talk, just get mad, then maybe I should hang It’s silent that is for sure, now at least I can think I am wired I am tired I cannot even blink Wherefore is the justice in being mad at dear me Shouldn’t I be able to say I’m sad let me be Coffee tastes bad when you don’t know how to make it Everything tastes bitter when that’s how you take it And I can’t even say sorry for all are asleep How can I loose the funk if It’s me that’s the creep |

"everything tastes bitter when that's how you take it..." This is just plain Good, Walt---even with your way out style, you always manage to hit the nail on the head...described this feeling quite well... |

Cheer up chappy, I hate to see a fellow poet down in the dumps especialy when it's someone who's as positive as you are usualy . Things only taste bitter if you make them like that, therefore believe that it's nice and you'll feel alot better and life will get tastier to . Liked the poem as usual it said loads and Serenity's comment about the nail on the head also hit the nail on the head when talking about hitting the nail on the head . Awww Walt! ~BIG HUGS~ We all get in this funk trust me. I was just in it for quite a while. I know it's not easy coming out of it, but trust me, you will. I too have slammed some doors, and said some things I shouldn't have. It's hard for others to understand. (One's in the household anyway) Keep your eyes up and remember to thank God, even if it was a icky day. I sure hope your funk goes away soon, I know it's no fun being there. |
