There might be cake in there! That I do not yet know of I might just go and see And again I'll fall in love What was that I idly glanced Frosting in the trash can Two and two slowly adds up Did I see a tin cake pan I’ve been nothing but grousing No poetry on empty belly No cake is how i recalled "A Lament" by ole Shelley [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 05-17-2000).] |

Now this is something I can't really get a grip on... you see... I'm well awear that there's plenty left-overs... Yet after a nap and a long drudge down the long and winding stairs... well wouldn't you know my darn kids ate everything that I was hoping would be there..! I look at the house and there's not a light on through the place, they surely must of snuck in quiet as a theif to case... I wondered why they didn't eat at dinner time... but then I wondered... why didn't I..! It's a rough life Walt and I have to tell you too, I get awfully hungry seeing what they've thrown in the trash... and I wouldn't even want to ask of you what all that they have stashed. I mean trashed. PS. But I did find the peanut butter. WOW..! |
