The days pass away,
time flys on by.
I think of you often,
I dream and I cry.

I look for the answers,
for why you don't love me.
I know deep inside,
it's time that you need.

We've shared all our feelings
all we do is just look.
Our eyes say it all,
it's plain as a book.

So why when I look
in your eyes as you gaze,
I see gentle longing,
you then look away.

We've talked many times,
of how much you love her,
But before you I am,
and together we're perfect.

It's been weeks since we've talked,
but I saw you today,
you were careful to hide,
you're slipping away.

I am trying to let you,
take the time that you need,
I just hope one day,
you'll find that you love me!
