I felt you move inside me, I felt you grow each day. < !signature-->You became a part of me, in a very special way. But then you came too early, you came into the world. You were so very tiny, but you were my little girl. I never got to hold you, or touch your pretty face. I had to let God take you to a better, better place. I have to wait a lifetime to hold you in my arms. But you are waiting for me, to free me from all harm. You're waiting there in heaven to take my hand someday. And all the tears I cried for you will then be wiped away. I didn't have you here on Earth, I couldn't watch you grow. But I am still your mother and all my love I'll show. You are my only daughter, the one God gave to me. I hope we are together throughout eternity. I'm not waving, I'm drowning! [This message has been edited by Echo Rhayne (edited 04-19-2000).] |

You will hold her one day, Echo, that I can assure you. This was so sad, but you are looking where you need to. God bless you. Michael |

Oh my dear Melanie, I bet this was a tough one to write. Though you never stop thinking of them, you got it right, you will hold her someday. Cherish that thought sweetie! Love and many hugs to you! It was written with such feeling and just flowed beautifully! <*\\\>< When you can't make up your mind, Which way is right for you, Stop and softly ask yourself, "What Would Jesus Do?" |

Wow... this is really good. If you don't mind I'm going to share this with someone... you might have made a big difference in someone's life today. Thank you. I'll be sure to give you credit. =) "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. Find who you are and let it stay in its true colors." --Rachel Joy Scott |

Oh, Echo, my heart melts with your pain. I had no idea. I am so very sorry for your terrible loss. I care very deeply. I have been there. ~ ~ ~ I would be very deeply honored if you would consider posting this on my poetry memorial site for bereaved parents - in memory of my own lost children - it's called "Coming Through the Fire", because living through your child's death is just that. ~ ~ ~ I would love to honor your little precious baby girl in this way. There are poems there from mothers whose babies had to leave our earthly life, as early as five weeks along. From conception, a baby has a soul, and is an eternal being; as well as being a precious child of the mother who loves her. ~ ~ ~ The URL is: http://www.angelfire.com/zine/bereaved/index.html ~ ~ ~ If you'd like to come visit. And again, I am so very, very sorry. Did you name her? I'd love to know her name. ~ ~ ~ |

Echo~ One day you'll be free to go wherever you fancy with your daughter but I'm sure she is always with you now. Your poem was full of emotion and I give you a HUG. Tracie~ Keep all the windows of your mind open Anne Rooks |

Ouch, Echo, I feel your pain. I am deeply sorry to hear this and your poem really shows the pain. I can only tell you that life has its mysterious ways, and the child you have lost comes back to you again. netswan |
