Of dragons and angels

I ride
dragons and angels
down roads of fire
and rainbow high
to hell
and heaven
probing fact
or lie.
I ride
dragons and angels
steeds of the Gods
to enigmas pry
fires destruct
faiths dogma
to sense the how
and the why.

Heaven to purgatory,
for the true of our story.

That this is a bejewelling of words is fact, Seymour. Very nice...

Among the dragons of your rhyme
Flying through the fires of time
In search of all the real and true
It's nice to see an angel or two

Great little piece

To all the wonderful people above
I can only say I am overcome by
your wonderful response.
One never knows the reaction of an
audience and I was truly overwhelmed
by yours. Once again my humble thanks
and love. Sy

Fanatically fanatical fantasy, this poem was truly great, snappy, heart-felt and meaningful . I loved it and the way you used the angel and dragon as symbols was the mark of a true believer . I take off my cap to you ( if I was wearing one ) . Keep up your metaphorically methodical magic method with words .

I ride,
Chariots with wheels of fire,
spitfire from the dragon side,
anger shown by nature's ire.

I ride,
unicorns with horn-rimmed glasses,
Angels befittingly pay a tribute,
The dragon spills into a glass, molasses,

I ride,
further beyond the horizon,
With jupiter in my mind, leaving earth behind,
Celestial beauties, stars gaze, so does the sun.

I ride,
ironically, don't even have a car,
have a chariot to imagine, a horse to assume,
The unicorn is simply a desire, to take me quite afar...

---------
Hey Seymour,
Words that you spill out from your heart make music to my ears, and art to my eyes, as I sit down and read this work, I *sigh*...

Great Work,
Regards,
Sudhir.

 Life is like a painting,
That in an art gallery is left hanging,
Though many come just to look at it,
A very few actually come to enjoy it.

I like dragons and angel too
But more I like the poetry done by you
I know I havn't been around
But I had to sing a different sound
Know, I read a lot from you
Well done, this one and it's so true
My time is short, I have to go
But I like this poem even so

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.
