So you want to read a love poem of my very own Well let me tell you It's hard to write one When you're all alone. I find it's not worth it To fall in love anymore Cuz before you express your feelings They're already out the door Or they might stick around awhile But they'll play you day by day And when you need their support They'll just turn and walk away And when they're tired of you They'll turn as cold as ice Then you'll be all alone To pay a heavy price. So I find it's no use for me To write poems of affection I'd rather write about pain Lonliness and rejection I don't wanna write About the blue sky or about any blossoming rose Cuz the rose would eventually die I prefer writing poems About the pain people feel About the loss of hope Or a heart that will never heal So why lay your heart on the line And risk taking on all that pain If your heart's been broken once It will happen again. I too have a problem where I can't write any love poems, and while it is hard to face rejection I do believe in true love. Call me niave or foolish but keep trying I am sure there is someone special out there for you.  Welcome to the site, great first post. |

Welcome to Passions - vphantom This is a heart breaking poem full of pain -----sigh. Takes a year to get to know yourself before jumping from the pan into a fire. When we know who we are then our choices to pick where we want our hearts to stay are far better - and far less chance of another withered heart. netswan |

Hi welcome to passions This is a very good start I liked it very much. I've been there to but gladly only once and it was as you stated but I guess if we give up and never try again we will never experience that once in a life time true love that eventually does come along. You're right vphantom...you don't have to write love poetry...any will do...what i see here is that you need a lot of comfort...well you came to the right place for that . There is someone out there for you no doubt...but don't give up...if you need to talk to someone...I'm pretty good at listening (reading) my email is open to you.
