MY TWO CENTS < !signature-->If hearts are made to be broken, Guess mind's were meant to be bent. If love is just a token, Guess mine's been aptly spent. If eyes are windows to the soul, How can yours still seem so warm? If life's a bridge, well I've paid toll, So why am I still in this storm? If dreams are merely vision, Is hope not left to die? Because faced with this decision, Reality sure seems the lie. If patience is virtue - virtue reward, Ever pristine and chaste. Why am I so prone to draw the sword Of haste to lay her waste? If pride cometh cheap, here's my two cents, Endeavored to persevere. Intelligence cannot be common sense, Cause I still want you near. Michael Anderson Just diggin out some from the personal archives guys. I will write something fresh soon - promise. For all behind was dark and drear, And all before was night and fear. How many hours of night or day In those suspended pangs I lay, I could not tell; I scarcely knew If this were human breath I drew. Honey, glad you enjoyed. Jeffrey, indeed, there was some passion behind this one...LOL Sheri, Know you can relate  I am only sorry that is so. It's pretty sad when you've got stuff like this just sitting there ready to be dusted off....because it's so good!! The poetry I have that is collecting dust is terrible!! I enjoy reading anything you write...no matter what the topic. It's always perfection!  |
