I don't see in colors anymore, only black and white To me there is no middle, it's either wrong or right I used to be a rainbow but it's scattered in the wind I used to like beginnings, but now I want to end I had red for love, but it was for my hurts and pain too And all of my emotions showed in my shades of blue Yellow was insecure and fears, it doubted I could dance But I had enough green for hope, for another chance I've been looking for my rainbow, I long for its return Because without my rainbow, my fire for life can't burn ~Please look for children in pain and help as you can~ Work like money doesn't matter, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching... |

HM3~ Heartbreaking and thoughtfully done. It has to stop ... it just has to. God be with our children. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I hope you find your rainbow. A touching and well written poem. I love the way you used colors to reflect the emotions. "Love is the only drug you can take that will convince you each time that you've never had it before." ~author unknown~ |

I don't see in colors anymore, only black and white To me there is no middle, it's either wrong or right I used to be a rainbow but it's scattered in the wind I used to like beginnings, but now I want to end ------------ HM3..this is so VERY well written...it is excellent and the metaphors of colors for emotions is perfect...the emotions are expressed very tenderly... take care, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... The wind and your love to carry me. vertical horizon |

Wow, this is a great comparison and a wonderful tribute to the abused child cause. No matter what the pain HM3, hope does shine through. I know if you look out after a fresh rain and sun comes shining through, that in the sky an arc of many colors, bows gracefully down just for you. Hope is a lovely thing. netswan |

How sad, to become "colorblind" to all that is lovely and beautiful in the world because of the ugliness you've experienced by a loved one's hand. |
