In your eyes I see the weight of your soul-- Tortured and silent. Many times I want to reach to you Take you in these arms And strip away the burden. You are so far… So silent… So lonely. I hear your cries And with you I shed tears of anguish. I cry your river of tears. I sense your longing In the darkness enfolding us My heart chills and breaks. If only together We could halt this torture Face each challenge as one. But my love… You are so removed… So tacit… For how long?
