Someday - one-day - hopefully - maybe a love will sound both loud and clear whatever the problems we'll work it out rich in the knowledge we'll both be here No more worrying about words that are said instead we'll spoon some old fashioned hugs secure as we smile when passion is calm recognising the depth and value of love Out the door you'll go a note inside your briefcase smiling to myself at your look of deep surprise around mid-day you start to read your papers as I'm creating twinkles deep inside your eyes Someday -one-day - hopefully - maybe your love will surprise me as well my eyes will burn like flashing emeralds so priceless the fortune you'll never sell Someday -one-day - hopefully - maybe ... |
