The taste for life gone flat as day old ale Steel sky fore-warns a fast approaching storm Resolved this day one last time to set sail The light subdued blurs edge of sharpest form Horizon lost in swell of monstrous sea Bent to his task one old salt sets his keel Hard weathered brow shields eyes cast inwardly That seek but yet one secret not revealed Where air and water meet as one to fly Swift cresting waves above his wanting craft So tired has he now grown of all the lies The storm that takes him home is his life raft Be-calmed at last by what has passed this day The salt in leagues of truth is swept away |

Dr.Moose1, Well I'm glad, The salt in leagues of truth has swept away. Enjoyed the read. |
