Is There a Heaven?

Is there a place of endless light,
Where darkness never falls;
Where sorrow dares not show its face,
And peace rules over all?
Is there a Heaven, up above?
The world may never know.
But hope and love can help to build
A Heaven, here below.

For, worry has no room to grow,
Where hope is in the heart;
And, love can drive away the pain,
To let the healing start.
With love and hope, the soul is free,
To soar beyond the blue;
To boldly dream a thousand dreams,
And make them all come true.

Life has its share of cold, dark hours;
But, also, warmth and light.
The sun shall always rise at dawn,
To chase away the night.
Do I believe in Heaven, then?
Why, yes - I truly do;
For, I believe this lovely place
Exists in me and you.

Troy... I agree wholeheartedly!!! Excellent piece! Tried to find a favorite stanza but all of them were too good to pick just one.

this was so beautifully written....i loved the ending especially, but the entire piece was written with such deep love and on a truly positive note. thanks for sharing.
