-- You're The Angel In My Dreams -- (5-8-2000) I wish I had a machine, that could synchronize our time Something that could link, your world with mine Your covered by the distance, a heavy fog over light And my days seem to begin, when yours become night I see you across the way, your dance has just begun Darkness lets me rest, but your shining like the sun Floating on the dance floor, an angel in disguise You blow a kiss my way, and it lands on fallen eyes I fight to stay awake, I want to see so much more Just once to join your dance, and glide accross the floor But my eyes are falling heavy, it's hard enough to watch Your light is getting faint, and our worlds drift apart A vision of your beauty, imprinted in my dreams Night binds our worlds together, and day cuts the seams I wish I had a machine, that could synchronize our time Maybe then I'd have the chance, to join your heart with mine --Dave "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. Find who you are and let it stay in its true colors." --Rachel Joy Scott |

I certainly want to be the first to reply to this breathtaking piece...I am in awe. This has got to be one of your best I've read yet. So sincere, so loving...so warm. I too, know how you feel. And look, here we are in the same room at the same time! Isn't it amazing? hehe I do so, want to dance...you have a few minutes? (wink) Miss you Dave, we need to do "tea" sometime, don't you think? You keep writing like this, and you're gonna have ladies swooning all over you, you know. BTW, I am still laughing at the green contacts thingy...ROFLMAO You are so funny! And about that dropping from a plane, that's right down your alley, 'eh? I wouldn't expect to meet you any other way! hehehe Just let me know before you "drop" ok? |

OH wow Dave ------I'm awake, but see beautiful poet femme fatale got here first. and she is younger, too, oh sigh. I taught ballroom dancing for four years so can stay awake, does that count??? My son and his girl work different hours, to both their despair. Beautiful poem Dave -- loved it. netswan |

Gen Wow... Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I really needed the ego boost there. And the first to reply? Couldn't be more perfect! [LOL] And here I am, just like the poem says... about to go to bed. =) But I'll hold off on that for a dance, don't get that chance very often. I can sleep anytime. =) Blow a kiss my way? Yeah, the skydiving thing has my attention laltey... however there is one downfall... well.. two including me... ok.. bad pun on words. NEways... There is a downfall, you drop that fast from that high and your ears pop the hole way. You can't hear anything for like a DAY after you get to the ground. =) So maybe we shouldn't meet that way. Unless you think you can handle me screaming or mumbling the hole time... but then I think I'd still like to hear your voice without you screaming at me. I've had enough of chicks screaming at me in the past. =) But "tea" sounds awesome. A deffinite must for future plans.< !signature--> netswan Actually I need lessons on the dancing part. But Gen has promised lessons too... decisions decisions... Ballroom dancing? Sure why not. Get me all primed and ready to sweep her off her feet. =) I'm sure there are other dances Gen can teach me. =) Actually I've always kinda wanted to learn ballroom dancing. Very elegant and romantic. =) "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. LOL I think you've been drinking that real soupy-sugary kind that makes you babble! hehe That's what I drink, so I know the signs! LOL You are too much! I think I need to go reread all you said up there, I have forgotten what all to address here....lol Get some sleep you silly man! LOL |

Me? Ramble? I don't know what you're talking about. =) Sowwy... I sometimes forget that not everyone runs there screen at high resolutions. I'd hate to read that at 640x480.... eeeeek! OK. I'll go to sleep now. Thank you both for the compliments that will give me such wonderful dreams. This place is the greatest! =) "Don't let your character get camoflaged with your environment. She says baby, It's 3am I must be lonely, When she says baby, Well I can't help but be scared of it all sometimes, Says the rains gonna wash away I believe it. ---------- LOL couldnt resist...you know how us insomniacs are. WELL... I AM SMILING LIKE -- BIG TIME NOW... after reading this little jewel... you and your muse need to be kissed for this one... really great stuff here... very nice my dave-gator... if it is the tea -- keep drinking it. later poet-gator. jm It's amazing How you make your face just like a wall How you take your heart and turn it off How I turn my head and you lose it all ... And it's unnerving How one move just puts me by myself There you go just trusting someone else Now I know I put us both through hell ... I'm not sayin That there was nothing wrong I just didn't think you'd ever get tired of me And I'm not sayin We ever had the right to hold on I just didn't wanna let you get away from me. ~MB20~Leave |

Wow, such beauty, such romance, such tender elegance....are you real? lol..I have never seen a man having the kind of romantic heart and stunning poetic talent that you have. I am in awe, and swooning, as always.. *Krista Knutson* "Lonliness is the human condition." *Mark Twain, in the book "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"* |
