Kim I remember going a little aflame, Trying to think of my first daughters name. A magical name to set her apart. A name that would come straight from my heart. One that when sounded and softly heard, Would echo like the call of a bird. No matter whose lip or why or whim, My heart skips a beat each time I hear Kim. It came from inside a part of a goal, It came from inside a part of my soul. It came from the magic of a wishing well. It came from inside my hearts woven spell. Each time it is called and I hear its sound, My eyes light up and heart starts to pound. It echoes like magic sets her apart And gives me a twinge straight in my heart. A flower is a flower, a name a name, But the sound of Kim ever strikes me a flame. |

ST, this is really a joyful read. The sound of a daughters name is always the sweetest music to a Father's ear. Very nice poem~~~ A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives. |

Seymour, this poem speaks eloquently of your love for her, regardless of her name. Bless you. ~ Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

Seymour~ How tender this is. What adoration from dad. I smile just knowing you smile at the beauty of her name. Next month my son, David, will marry his Kim, and a delight she is in our lives. Love ya' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
