Pliant dreams of cascading moon beams- Shooting heavenward and past, Fluorescent light, of memories sight- Not one solemn dream to last. Just Fantasies Wish, in Forever’s Kiss- That ended one day too soon, Tears of the Saint, can’t compensate- As I endlessly pray to the moon. Brightness I grasp, behind smile’s mask- Daring just one to step up, Create total bliss, upon such lonesome lips- Devouring hurt’s open lust. No stinging recollection in misconception- As throbbing fades utterly away, Show me laughter unending, truth unbending- Completion, the honest way. Just a little prayer, to help get me there- Where granted, are heartfelt dreams, Yet I stand in wait, upon solitaire’s gate- Wishing toward the cascading moonbeams… Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |

*sigh* Devina, you really got me with this one. . . I can feel the longing and the sadness in this one. . . "No stinging recollection in misconception- As throbbing fades utterly away, Show me laughter unending, truth unbending- Completion, the honest way." We all long to have this completion. . . with no strings. . . just honest. . . a love that's pure. . . keep looking. . . it's out there. . . -------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Even sadness would feel honoured with this one. Liked these lines most "Create total bliss, upon such lonesome lips- Devouring hurt’s open lust" BTW, a vagrant maybe stupid thought - Lips are in pairs, so how come they are lonesome? Regards, Enjoyed this one for sure! Sudhir Take each day as it comes, Consider each day as a flight, Try hard to succeed and fly, Surely then you will reach some height. But if by some chance you don’t, Remember that tomorrow will always come. Learn this well and learn this hard That today’s efforts will pay for tomorrow’s fun. A Crazy Monster, a.k.a Ski |

Beautiful!! The yearning and sadness are flowing out of it in the most wonderful way. Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Ah, little Devina~ What an awesome poem. Capturing lost moonbeams ... elusive dreams. Smiles will come again to rest on your lips. And oh, how they will light up your life This was wonderful, hon. *HUGS* ~*Marge*~ a/k/a ~*Ms. Priss* ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Devina, Truly inspirational lyric. As I read into your longing, I could not help but glance out my window at that moon. ~S |
