She's such a good girl, there's something special about her She doesn't even hate her parents, or think their values are absurd She's independent, and not persuaded by her peers She don't have metal in her navel, or even rivets in her ears She's kind of funny, in a cautious sort of way She's not judgmental; "Whatever gets you through the day" When she gets lonely, her heart is bursting at the seams But she doesn't get discouraged, she turns her focus to her dreams She's on a mission, she's gonna make it in this world She don't need empty consolation when her agenda comes unfurled She's not flamboyant, don't wear rocks or perm her hair She don't have implants, and that's alright cause she don't care She's no Curie', or Princess Di, or Margaret Thatcher, But she's a good girl, there's something special about her |

This is such a sweet poem! I'm sure that she has turned out this way because you're her dad!!! Nice to see you in the open forum for a change. |

Jester this fantastic! I agree with Sharon here, I bet she's had a loving example and someone who cares a great deal for her to feel so confident! I have 3 kids...2 daughters and God help me when they get to that age. <*\\\>< Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become. |
