~  Tender Knowing  ~

Stare back at me & feel the calm we share -
Look into me & know I'm everywhere...
Your thoughts are mine - I know the way you kiss
Away from you, it's truly me I miss.
See, I'm complete whenever you are near -
Within your eyes, there's nothing that I fear...
If ever I am lost - I touch your hand
I know you see me there & understand.

~~~~~~~~~
My echo, my reflection, and my wings -
I fly within your gaze, my soul it sings...
Our arms entwined, tight around eachother
I hold you close & want you like no other.
I breathe you in with every word you speak -
To share this tenderness - I kiss your cheek...
Stare back at me & feel this calm we share
My angel ever near - I know you're there.
~~~~~~~~~

Femme,
A very beautiful poem. Sometimes, it's a struggle to break into words, feelings some of us may have for another.
You destroyed that annoying barrier with your poem.

There's an angel smiling somewhere right now - and where ever that may be, I'm sure it feels like heaven right about now.  Pure gold, Gen...

serenity - - "aching" is a good choice of word!     Thank you dear!

Severn - - Severn??  Is that you?  hehe  (rubbing eyes...)  Just kidding!  Have missed you so!

Fading Sun - - Funny you mention "annoying barriers"....I've yet to come across one this time. Thank you though for understanding that frustration, that most of the time, we feel.

Janet - - (giggling)  All your wows and sighs!  LOL  I think you LOVE me!

Michael - - Indeed, dreams are golden at times.

Martie - - So are you!     Thank you dear!

**  This was a very personal and intimate poem for me to write and share.  I'm glad you've enjoyed it thus far.  Personally, the last line is my favorite....that one just happened.

Femme.. This poem echoes a longing I feel in my heart. I have searched for a way to express these feelings myself. I couldn't have said it better myself. Do you mind if I send this to Marcus?

I miss ya girl. Help me figure out this internet thing and I will be back up and running before you can say POET INSANITY.. or should that be INSANE POET? hehe.

I miss these feelings... well, in reality.. still got those "dream dates"...   What a bummer that it's not you btw.

Anyways... this one is awesome.  Can't wait until I feel this way again, but until then maybe I can pacify myself by printing this one out and reading it everynow and then.     Thanks for the memories.< !signature-->
