Hush This the sweet ending of a lovely day. The fledgling birds don't want to go to bed. I hear them peeping in the big oak tree. "Now hush yourselves", the mother birdie said. "We must be up to greet the early dawn; When God sets fire to the easterly sky. Be there before the early worms are gone. Now quiet down, I'll sing a lullaby." Her sweet voice rose to lull her babes to sleep; All night sounds stilled to hear the lovely song. From the young birdlings not another peep, Their mother near to guard them the night long. Joyce: Utterly beautiful! The birds are in full vice right now, morning and evenings. Betty Lou Hebert |

Joyce- as usual, you put your special touch & treatment to a subject and it becomes an image of loveliness & meaning! Well done! David Every Day's a Blessing |
