No longer can it be postponed, sweet ache of quiet serenity, the siren call to the surf side view. Aquamarine waves slowly recede; the revelation of sand flats, fingerprinted whorls and ridges with random strands of seaweed broken shells and stones. A starfish fallen from the dark teal sky forlornly resides among the seagulls’ footprinted hieroglyphics. Darkness enfolds the night; as desire stands on the threshold of an epiphany with a need to walk the white-crested path, to touch the luminous moonstone. You give a vivid description of how the sea affects your emotions. Very elegant dance with words. Joyce |

Excellent, Wordancer. Makes me long for a real walk on the moonlit beach. But the poem is experience enough for now. I loved it as usual. coyote "Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood." - T.S. Eliot [This message has been edited by coyote (05-15-2002 08:28 PM).] |

Glorious descriptive poetic write! The beach my favorite and you brought it all alive...You are truly a gifted poet, my friend.. A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
