*Sounds muffled, talking* As I woke this morning as they usually do begin To use my aid to clarity With that as I read your lips, I can understand the second time, But I usually just take a guess, And you said its time to get up, *Words mumbled* And I asked you to repeat Trying to match up the sounds With the words in my head i've learnt I take a brave guess and hope i'm right, For I live in fear sometimes, That I may get it wrong, In some embrassing situation. |

this piece stimulates the mind. Is it lack of focus due to fatigue, or is it really the fact that we hear what we want to hear and filter out other things too unpleasant to contemplate... nice write. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
