Mama Came to Visit

Mama came to visit
just for a little while
Oh, how I’ve missed
seeing her loving smile
Mama came to visit
I wonder why she came
Maybe she misses me too
But, things just aren’t the same

I almost said it out loud
but I held my tongue…
Why spoil this moment…
I was having so much fun.
I knew it was just a dream
it could not continue on
Mama came to visit…
she smiled and then was gone.

I love this. They all come back sometimes but do not stay. How we hold on to those moments. Joyce
