The Voice of Glass In the heart of molten gold, See a fantasy unfold. Made of dreams and sweat and tears, Harboring a hundred fears. Will I live or will I die, Sending ashes to the sky? Jealous flames that wrap around Make a hungry, hissing sound. How they hate to let me go, Envious of amber glow, Tinged with rosy, blushing shade As my glassy globe is made. Out of fire now to cool, Lucent light begins to pool. Held within, but lumenent And this unique message sent: "Here I am, a glass creation, Brought to perfect culmination.
