Frosting

Snow swirls
criss-crossing black ice
like frosting on a cake.

Painted by a brush
of wind uncertain
to then fro, then to again.

Frigid is stealing
up sleeve, down collar
turning flesh to stone.

Ice pellets
snowflake convicts
sting as they assault.

Swirls sur-real-istic
canvas of black ice
frosting with frosting.

    ...was once upon, bleeding
        and Tramp Poet for awhile.
         Now; I'm just little ole me
          wearing nothin but a smile

Tramp, the black ice and snow and wind down the collar is why I get as far away from ice and snow and wind as possible. But if I ever went back to it it would be because of your word-picture you showed us. Great words, ME
