little angels
one by one
came flying down
from heaven
dressed in white
and shining bright
they fell to earth at seven
they lay about,
like so much snow
and smiling
they lay down
they swished and swung
their arms and legs
and what else?
made snow angels
on the ground
its silly I know
to see it so
angels making
pictures of themselves
but it made me smile
for quite a while
and hat seems a miracle
in and of itself
when they had gone
then I went out
and lay down
on the snow
I moved my arms
and legs as they
and an ' angel '
was what i had to show
so try it yourself
its always fun
to feel like
you are seven
and you know that
if the angels do it
its a little peace of heaven.

This brought a smile to my face and a lot of fun memories of making snow-angels and also fo teaching my children how to do it.
It's been years since I've done that, but there is certainly lots of snow here if I decide to try it again! Thanks.

I love your poem on angels. I am sure they are all around us and we have to be pretty sharp to see their work. Nice poem. Joyce

Very little snow this year and I'm feeling a bit lost w/o it--I know, I know...
