…a wee bit of fun for a change of pace DANG— pesky mosquitoes in the air (blood thirsty little creatures) ants at the table running aimless over checkerboard squares DARN— flick the switch roaches scramble from the light darkness descends SPLAT— crunch-crunch no more teenie, tiny footprints running across the floor at night blinking lights at the roach motel there is a bug party going on RAID— where art thou with your sibilant whisper to spread relief PSST— millipedes centipedes do silver fishes fly invisible gnats badger horseflies heh-hawing around texan wolf spiders swing from silken strings corner-to-corner termites busily sawing wood invasion of the pantry moths pill bugs in the prozac head lice looking for hair look out over there creepy crawly creatures in the house! -Wordancer, the poet who writes to the beat of a different drummer [This message has been edited by wordancer (01-17-2002 03:05 PM).] |
