That hour passed by, and quickly too,
As we rode amidst a sky deep blue.
One tabby-magi, fairy-queen
and simple me.

" I have a surprise for both of you,
I think you both will like it too!"
Said Destiny with a big
mischievous smile.

" Unless it's chocolate, give it to him!"
Snowpaw said with wiskered grin
and I smiled at the silly,
curmudgeony, tabby cat.

" Squatch wants Sol to find a ring,
we both agreed upon the thing,
so off we go to
the House of Stone and light!"

‘ Isn't that a song?' I queried.
" Yes, but also a place!" said Fairy.
" And orion himself will
show us all the rings!"

‘ Orion? You mean as in the stars?'
" Well of course! What,you expected Mars?'
Destiny replied as if
I should have known.

‘ I thought he was a hunter, brave?'
" He WAS, but now its gem,s he saves.
He hunts for them beneath
the earthy crust!"

" I heard he's UGLY! " said the cat,
still flying my front carpet mat.
" The only thing attractive
is his BELT!"

" Snow paw! That's just wrong!"
said Destiny with voice like song.
" So hoity-toity you've become
since changed to CAT!"

" Ah, Des, you know me all to well!"
" Now where's Orion's front doorbell?"
Des pointed and we landed
soft upon the front door stoop.

" The question shouldn't be...'Why are we here?' but rather 'ARE we here? "
