Morning rose up bright and new.
The autumn trees with frosted dew
for jack was back to work
his wintery ways.

" What have you got round here to eat?"
Demanded Snowpaw at my feet.
I stood and she jumped right up
to my ear.

‘ Scrambled eggs and Canadien ham.'
" With REAL Canadiens? " She asked. ‘ Yes ma'am!'
" GOOD! They're always tastier
when fried!"

I made brekkers for her and me
And then I thought of Destiny
and how that fairy always
knows whats right.

" Boyo, you sure think a lot!"
‘ No I don't!' " Do too!!" ‘ Do not!'
Then we laughed out loud and
ate our scrambled eggs.

Then Snowpaw wanted to play a game.
" POKER!!" She aclled for by name.
So I stood to go and get
the poker cards.

Then all at once I was amazed,
and the poker deck took center stage
as one by one each card floated
through the air.

" TELEKINESIS!! Ain't it GRAND!"
said Snowpaw and at her command
the cards began to dance
upon my head.

‘ I take it you would like to deal?'
" Tis only fair, you made the meal."
" now how's about a game
of five card…..STUD!!" (( wink wink ))

" You're being hit on by a cat."
" An older woman too at that!"
Said Des, who, as promised
Had come back to visit Snow and me.

" The question shouldn't be...'Why are we here?' but rather 'ARE we here? "
