Lingers So

the kiss, she lingers
feeling of body, warmth
skin to skin, sweet love.
Soft softly, slowly
oh so very slowly
the kiss lingers so...

the touch sets fire
burning with crisp desire
world, oh world slips away.
True forever promised
with whispered fingertips
inferno framed with limbs.

Hand etches pathways
icy hot tendrils, thrills
voice catches murmur.
Moments made of eternity
secret smiles, golden years
life made worth the living.

Oh my God, the love
the love lingers
exempt from time.
Soft softly, sweet and slowly
oh my burning love
the kiss, she lingers so...
