In my dreams in moonlit hours You enchant me with your powers You inhabit my desires Rekindling sparks back into fires Your perfume floats upon the breeze Brings me quickly to my knees I surrender without regret Deftly trapped within your net Captured by your many charms Comforted in your tender arms By your prowess I fall prey Dreading now the light of day But once again this vision fades Harsh reality, my mind invades Though I long to hold you near You've been gone almost a year But I know you will return When the sun no longer burns I'll be waiting for your call When the shadows fall |

Dennis; Whew!!! You sure can write these romantic poems! This one flows like a dream...a poet of greatness, you are!! Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
