Wait around for the phone but no one's calling. Finding my comfort level slowly falling. Wishing someone would just say hey!!! Goodness garsh that would brighten my day. Yet here I am very patiently waiting. Watching the hours slowly dissapating. Memories of friends from years gone past. Wishing and wondering why memories don't last. Forgetting and tossing them all too soon. The mind in a blanket stare at the moon. Wherever o' ever art thou, sweet friend? O where will you be when it is the end? And our time like a candle burning away. Will you, oh will you, ever come this way? Or are you then, lost in this awkward space? Wondering when I will meet at your place. Wishing the day drew rapidly near. So we both would not have to shed a tear. For the loss that we feel in our lives today. Will finally, thankfully, just go away!!!
