oh that's lovely marge: the layout and background you used livens up the words,  the words you used liven up the background. Well done :-)

Lovely words and lovely picture.  The leaves can hold their own with the flowers and last longer in the garden.  Love, Joyce

Dear Marge;  The beauty of these leaves truly bears out what you say.  I love the leaves on some of the plants in my yard, and especially the Hostas!  They are gorgeous.  Thanks for sharing!

Ah, yes, all sorts of leaves are varied in colors, even the many shades of green are a sight to behold.  Now I'm getting anxious for our fall colors to appear.  They never last long enough for me.

Thanks for this nugget of appreciation, Marge.

Thank you for sharing
your beautiful garden,

I can almost see hope
for autumn in them.

Marge,

A very nice presentation.  Smiles. In your poem, I really liked the idea of Nature decorating not only the flowers but the leaves as well.

God bless you and, again, thank you (thank you) for sharing your beautiful garden photographs with us.

I'm so glad you share with us Marge. I think everything I have outside is dying in this heat inspite of my watering. :-(

Thank you friends ALL~

Now, wanna hear something COOL ?

Well, I took these leaves and coated them with a sun screen product containing SPF 30 ... they are still as fresh and green/white as the day I picked them~

Got that little tip from a man we met at a woodcarving place who shared a secret of preserving the color of the Purple Heart wood that Bill uses in some of his carving~

It will be interesting to see just how long these leaves stay fresh, supple and maintain the color~
