So it has finally come
to this once again.
Another friend to abandon me
to the cold dark place of loneliness.
I'm still here in this place
and I'm still waiting for you to release this pain.

It's sorta cold here
and the days pass by slowly.
I can feel the sun light
but it feels barely there.
I'm still here in the shadow
and still I'm waiting for you to find me.

I remember the promises that we have made
and the times that they shattered to the ground.
I'm amazed at what just one year
can do to change us both.
But in the end I still am here
and I'm still waiting for someone
to bring me toward the light.
