A Name to be Proud Of, Hannah Jo Your great, great, great grandma was Hannah. Your great, great grandpa was Joe. Hannah was my grandma and My daddy's name was Joe. I'd like for you to know them, Though they lived so long ago. I had a devoted daddy And my grandma was dear to me. So Hannah Jo, I'm sorry You didn't get to see Those two wonderful folks who lived Before you came to be. And though you'll never know them What I'm telling you is true, Each one of those beautiful people Is surely a part of you. Be proud of your name, my darling And never bring it shame. For two better folks never lived than they Those two who share your name. With love, Great Grandma Johnson |

Dear Joyce; When Hannah Jo is a little older her namesakes will come alive for her through your poetry and the stories you can tell her! Poems like this will be treasures to her! Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
