Whether my love comes today, or tonight, I am ready for it, as ever and ready to fight, This time I’ll hang on and not letting it go, If that means, I have to give my soul, let it be so, Too many years I’ve waited and stayed quiet, Never got the nerve to get up and create a racket, But now I know that my life is not going back, No reverse gear in this destination’s chariot, So I succumb to my passion and obsession for love, Till my last breath I breathe, I shall search for it above and beneath, For the lord has made my soul mate but misplaced her somehow, somewhere, The only guarantee I have is that she is out there somewhere, At this moment she is sleeping or talking to a friend, The moments she has cried, wish I was there to console her, But she will just have to wait a little longer, till I get to hold her, She thinks of the one too, I can sense her beat, She may very well be standing fifty feet from me, As long as she hangs on and not let her dream surrender, I don’t know how long it will take, but I’ll find her. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |
