this one is for you baby, my knight in tarnished armor.

Tarnished Armor

into my life he came riding
on his trusty iron steed
rescueing a damsel in distress
among his many deeds

he's hard, he's tough
his armor slightly tarnished
around the edges he is rough
until I look into his eyes

whe he smiles, and takes my hand
a princess I become
where by my side he takes his stand
that's when his armor shines

behind him now on that steed
into the future we ride
this damsel no longer in distress
his armor no longer tarnished
