hand in hand

the storm rolls on
taking its viciousness
time chasing right behind.
Crashing lighting, then thunder
passes, goes on about its way
leaving behind a new washed day.

Puddles of debris, so dirty
to be avoided, watch out!
stepping 'round stinking residue.
Other puddles of clear water
looked upon with fondness
irrigation, welcomed pondness...

Slowly building, instant crescendo
natural progression, natural result
the storm, she rolls on.
New day of calm, clear promise
welcomed all across the wet land
once again, hand in hand.

yes the storm is truly over, and each and every day is now a washed clean day with a fresh new start. Life has indeed become something to look forward to.
