People of the Night When most of us are sound asleep, There are other folks who keep Watch through the hours of the night, Making sure things are all right. The police and fire staff on hand, Answer at the first command. Hospitals and the medic crew Ready to take care of you! Cleaning teams and janitors. Watchmen, checking on locked doors. Those who gather news and print Papers for the morning stint. Others use the dark to pry, Preying on those passing by, But they are just a small percent, Compared to many so intent On providing all they can For the benefit of man! Betty Lou Hebert |

As a night worker I thank you. I love working nights as I am more awake after a certain time. There are many of us as you could tell if you are a talk radio person. I sometimes think we are different. But we are needed. Someone has to work nights. marty |
