So bad our love,
That you rather have it die,
Then watch it fly,
Clipped its wing,
And u let me loose,

Give me a chance to prove,
That love can fight all,
And still be yours,
You needn’t give in,
A life without my love,

Only once in lifetime
You will feel the fire,
And the spark will go high,
That love u felt is mine,

Am I just a fool?
To believe in one love,
And give my all to you,
Took my innocence without a clue,

Going to marry another,
But the pleasure was mine,
Even though we don’t talk,
Or meet,
I picture us walking together,
Holding hands,

Everyone say that this is wrong,
Time will heal my hurt,
But they don’t know that your
Love is the only cure,

You think of those times,
We use to be so happy,
Such sweet memories,
Cards full of love,
Where did that all go?

The more I think of you,
I cry inside,
You were mine for a small time,
But you gave me pain-
That I can write for a life time.

I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality.

Xeonox,

Such a heart-felt and sad poem! I wonder how many of us still remember the pain of losing someone we love or had loved long ago. As difficult as it is, perhaps it's time to move on. You never know, someone else may enter your life and fill it with joy and love.
