whenever I need a lift, you are always there dear Marge. Thank you for this glimpse of beauty. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Oh my ... how I thank you all for letting me share the beauty of the garden with you~ This little Pepperminty is one of my favorites ... and I'm lucky enough to have two of the bushes in the rose garden area~ Truth is ... these lovely petals make such a LOVELY decoration on a cake ... and with not using pesticides ... the petals are edible~ (not delicious, mind you ... but edible) A STUNNING decorative idea~ I gently remove the petals ... coat them with a small brush in egg whites ... gently poof them with sugar and store them until ready to place on the newly iced cake~ Trust me ... they are raved over at every event I take one to~ (Have to thank my buddy, Martha Stewart, for this little kitchen helper hint) What joy is mine ! *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
