Poetic Paean
~*Marge Tindal*~

I will sing of His glory
each day with a song
Lift Him in voiced praise
all the day long~

I will write of His promise
this day in a rhyme
I will give Him the glory
for the happiness I find~

I will tell of His forgiveness
which is His greatest measure
Everyday, I will proclaim
He is my heartfelt treasure~

I will tell of His coming
once more to this land
Though I know not when
I will readily stand
at the river to greet Him
as He extends His hand
to take me across the river
that wends to Eternity's bend~

There I will dwell forever
with Christ as my dearest friend~
