The one who use
To sleep with me-

And flip my frown into a smile,

She feels the same way,
But we are apart,
For our love did not matter,
And we feared,

God is not fair,
So I said tonight,
With that aside,
Let me plead my case,

The way she looked at me,
Took my breath away,
Her smile brought promise
Of future so clear,

What could Iâ€™ve ask for more?
but in the end Iâ€™ve lost it,
Her and myself,
For my mind was not right,

And my heart was set on fire,
With greed I opened it,
And now it stays that way,
For these wound will never heal,
And the scars will never fade,

Without your love, I am empty,
Darkness engulfs me,
And for you I will suffer,
In hell for the crimes are too great,
And my hope far fetched,

I take into account of your loss,
But why does it feel
That this is a nightmare,
Hoping to awaken and hold you,
And never let you go,

We both wish this,
Picturing the last parting,
Oh how brave we had to be,
Our heads held high,
And our heart sunk low
We let each other goâ€¦

this speaks for so many of us, and my heart goes out to you. I too have just gone thru this and feel that time will never heal the way i feel, for in my heart my love will always be there for him who cannot be with me. thank you for this beautiful expression of feelings.
