Christmas Eve Happy Birthday, Jesus. My prayers have all been said. Before the stroke of midnight I will be tucked in bed. Attending early service On this your birthday's eve I gladly shared your supper With others who believe. We've fed some of the hungry, We've clothed some of the poor And given of our Christmas To those who need it more. I hope you like your party, Lord. We've been preparing long And lifting up our voices In "Happy Birthday", song. Tomorrow in your honor We'll gather round the tree And all those ringed around it, Will toast the "Honoree". If all war could be halted And dark clouds rolled away, The peace you came to bring us Would be felt this Christmas Day. By: Joyce 12/21/04 |

Joyce, Thank you for sharing some of your wonderful Christmas tradition here. I love the unity expressed here by everyone being ringed around the tree and giving honor to who honor is certainly due...Thank you for continually remembering our Loved Ones who fight in war and for expressing your desire and prayer that war would soon come to an end. God bless and Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve to you. -Bob |

I wish for world peace too....for everyone, whether they celebrate Christmas, Hannukah, or the Muslim winter celebration (I can't remember what that one is--could anyone fill me in?) we all need to respect each others' differences and celebrate them as well, for God. There is a lot of truth in this, Joyce. God bless and Merry Christmas!! ~sky Have a Holly Jolly Christmas! Jesus is the reason for the season!! |

This is beautiful Joyce. May you and yours have a blessed holiday season. hugs, Chris For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul. |
